Q: Juliana, your Dubai Hills home is absolutely stunning. What was the inspiration behind its design?

Thank you so much! The inspiration was drawn from a contemporary, modern LA-style living—clean lines, open spaces, and a seamless blend of luxury and comfort. I wanted a space that felt elegant yet inviting, a true reflection of our lifestyle.

Q: You played an active role in designing the interiors—how did you ensure that it reflects both luxury and warmth for your family?

For me, luxury isn’t just about aesthetics; it’s about how a space makes you feel. I aimed to create an environment that was sleek and modern yet still warm and inviting. I balanced high-end design elements with cozy touches—plush fabrics, warm lighting, and personal accents—to ensure our home feels both stylish and lived-in.

Q: Your fashion sense is impeccable — does your personal style influence your home décor choices as well?

Absolutely! Fashion and design go hand in hand for me. Just as an outfit should make you feel confident and comfortable, your home should do the same. I see interior design as an extension of personal style—sophisticated yet effortless, with a touch of individuality.

Q: Your husband is known to be very supportive of your journey. How does he inspire or complement your approach to fashion and luxury living?

I feel incredibly blessed. My husband is my biggest supporter—he always encourages me to pursue what I love, even though fashion isn’t his world. His industry is far from fashion, yet he understands my passion and stands by me every step of the way. Having a partner who believes in you, even when your paths are different, is truly special.

Q: Being a mother while living such a high-paced, high-fashion lifestyle must be a beautiful challenge! How do you balance motherhood, fashion, and global travel?

It's definitely not easy, but I live by the motto: “Happy mummy, happy household.” My family always comes first, but I also believe in nurturing my passions. Travel and fashion are my creative outlets, and even a quick 48-hour trip to Fashion Week gives me that little adrenaline rush. When I return home, I feel recharged and ready to dive back into mom life with even more energy and love.

Q: Can you tell us how the Givenchy collaboration came to life? How did the partnership begin, and what was the experience like attending Paris Fashion Week with them? We’d love to hear about the events and special moments you were a part of during that magical week in Paris.

It all began three years ago at a beautiful Sohour dinner hosted by Givenchy at The Arts Club in Dubai during the holy month of Ramadan. I was incredibly fortunate to be seated next to Givenchy’s Global Client Director, who, after a lovely conversation, extended an invitation to their next show in Paris.

Little did I know, that evening would change everything. Soon after, I found myself in Paris, stepping into the extraordinary, captivating world of Givenchy. It truly was love at first sight. From that moment, the connection deepened—they became my fashion family, and I became a proud ambassador for the brand wherever I travel in the world.

Being in Paris for the shows is always such a privilege. Sitting front row and witnessing the artistry and emotion of each collection is something I never take for granted. I feel honoured to represent a house that embraces such elegance and legacy. With Sarah Burton now stepping in as Creative Director, I believe Givenchy is returning to its roots—couture, precise tailoring, and timeless sophistication. The latest show gave us a glimpse of what's to come, and I’m incredibly excited to see the direction the brand will take. It’s a thrilling time to be part of the Givenchy story.

Q: What does a typical day in your life look like?

• 6 AM – Coffee o’clock (I’m Colombian—coffee is a ritual!)

• Morning Routine – Getting my kids ready and handling school drop-offs

• Self-Care & Fitness – Breakfast, gym, steps, tennis—keeping active is a must

• Afternoon – School pickups, after-school activities, quality family time

• Evening – If time permits, I attend a fashion or art event (Dubai is full of them!)

• Nighttime – Husband and wife time—I love dinner dates!

• 10–11 PM – Bedtime; I truly value a good night’s sleep for recovery and rejuvenation.

Q: Do you have any personal rituals that keep you grounded amidst such a luxurious, fast-paced lifestyle?

Motherhood keeps me grounded—no doubt about it. I feel incredibly privileged, but the simple things bring me the most joy. Whether it’s hopping on my pink bicycle and taking my kids to the park or watching them explore life with their innocent eyes, those moments remind me what truly matters.

Q: Fashion is clearly a huge part of your day-to-day. How do you decide what to wear each day?

I thrive on outfit planning! Being the only girl in the house, my wardrobe is my personal playground—my sanctuary. I can spend hours curating looks, mixing and matching styles. Every day is an opportunity to express myself through fashion, whether it’s casual elegance or full-on glamour.

Q: When it comes to family time, what are some of your favourite moments or traditions at home?

• Bedtime cuddles – My favourite time of the day. It’s when we wind down, reflect, and share precious moments.

• Weekend rituals – We love spending weekends by the pool, taking our golf buggy around Dubai Hills, or hosting “talent shows” in our home cinema.

• Travel traditions – Our summers in Ibiza are sacred. The White Isle holds our best family memories—it’s a place where we reconnect, unwind, and embrace the magic of the Mediterranean.

Q: What’s your take on the future of luxury fashion? Do you see a shift happening in how people perceive high-end fashion?

Fashion is undoubtedly undergoing a major shift. There’s a strong move towards going back to basics—many fashion houses are rediscovering their roots and refining their brand DNA. In a world that’s constantly chasing trends, simplicity and authenticity are becoming the new luxury.

Q: Do you see sustainability playing a bigger role in luxury fashion? How do you personally incorporate sustainable choices into your wardrobe?

A million percent, yes! Fashion is cyclical—what’s in today will be back in a few years. People are realising the value of timeless pieces. I love the challenge of re-styling a classic leather jacket or a beautifully tailored trench coat in new ways. Sustainable fashion isn’t just about buying less—it’s about buying smart and making your pieces last.

Q: What exciting projects or collaborations are on the horizon for you?

I’m grateful to have some incredible projects in the works! While I can’t reveal too much just yet, there are some exciting collaborations and ventures coming up that align perfectly with my love for fashion and luxury living. Stay tuned!

Q: What advice would you give to those looking to build a career in fashion and luxury influencing?

Believe in what you do and love it passionately. Fashion and luxury aren’t just about aesthetics—they’re about storytelling, creativity, and authenticity. Stay true to your vision, work hard, and enjoy the journey. Passion is the key to success in any field.
